Can't Smile without Barry

I am delighted to report that Jared and I bought our tickets to Barry Manilow in Vegas. I can't wait to be lulled into pure bliss by his heavenly voice. I am definitely a Fanilow by heart. I just hope the 65-year-old menopausal women will keep the sobbing and howling to a minimum. Let the countdown begin...

2 Hours I'll Never See Again

Dear Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Collin Farrell fans:

I know you're thinking you'd love to see this movie since it was Heath Ledger's last film. Also, how wonderful it is that these great fellow actors stepped in to complete the unfinished film. I had high hopes for this picture and the lady at the theatre assured us of how fantastic it is. It saddens me to report that this was an excruciating two hours of my life wasted. The plot is incomprehensible. It's dark and all-over the place. You would seriously need to be on mind-altering drugs to interpret the crazy scenes in this movie. A good vs evil story that's never fully resolved. It's unfortunate that this is Heath's final work. I don't blame the actors because they are all talented, but whoever came up with these ideas, needs to find another job. Again, I strongly urge that you skip this movie.
